Step 1: Download the JBL Connect+ App

Step 2: Connect the JBL Boombox to Connect+ App
Press the power button on the JBL Boombox to turn it on. If this is your first time connecting your JBL Boombox, the speaker will by default start in pairing mode, so you don’t have to do anything.
Else, to start pairing mode, make sure you hold down the Bluetooth button on the speakers for at least 3 seconds until the LED starts flashing blue.
Your speakers are now in pairing mode.
Next, start the Connect+ on your smartphone. The app will automatically locate your Boombox and pair them together The speakers and smartphone will start syncing the data and once everything is done, you will hear a flip done indicating success.
Step 3: Start streaming music in your JBL Boombox
Start any app you use to stream music from your smartphone. Play the song of your choice. The song will now start streaming from your JBL Boombox.
In case, you cannot hear anything, press the play button on your Boombox or try holding the volume up button.

Step 4: Connect the JBL Xtreme to Connect+ App
Now press the power button on the JBL Xtreme to turn it on. To start pairing mode, make sure you hold down the Bluetooth button on the JBL Xtreme for at least 3 seconds until the LED starts flashing blue.
Next, press the connect+ button in the JBL Connect+ app. The app will automatically locate your JBL Xtreme and pair your JBL Boombox and Xtreme together. The speakers and smartphone will again start syncing the data and once everything is done, you will hear a flip from your JBL Xtreme indicating a successful pairing.
You can now play music from two or more of your speakers. If you want to disconnect any of them, just press the connect+ button again or simply turn off one of your speakers.
